Hi,

I'm trying to do a backup of a folder on a daily basis. I'd like to have the same directory saved every day, with each day's backup under a separate directory :

2013-09-09.1_C.zip
2013-09-10.1_C.zip
2013-09-11.1_C.zip
... etc ...

I have no problem with the Scheduler, setting up the "Job" to occur everyday at 2pm.

The problem occurs with setting up the "Type".
If I pick "Full", it saves the files properly under a dated folder. But the very next day, it over-rights the folder with the new dated folder, therefore I only every have 1 file folder.

If I pick "Mirror", it doesn't pick up the "<DATE>" tag. Again, I only get 1 day folder.

What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

Using FBackup, you can keep only the latest version of the backup. If you want to keep multiple backup versions, please use our commercial edition Backup4all (http://www.backup4all.com).

Well, that would explain why I failed miserably ...

Thank you for taking the time to respond to my query. You saved me lots of debugging time (but it will ultimately cost me in the end when I upgrade).
