Continued "Network path was not found" errors from c:\ files

I've recently installed Fbackup, and I'm attempting to backup from my C:\ to an different hard drive on my home network. I continue to see source file failures in several attempts, with issues arising at different points in the backup, but always failing from that point forward. A sample of the error is: "Warning: Skipping file C:\Users\Family\Documents\xx\xx\xx.jpg Network path was not found (mirr1)". The C:\ is clearly attached and not experiencing any availability issues like you might expect from the network destination. Also, the files are originally 'found' during initialization, but 'not found' later during the backup. Please advise! Thanks!
*EDIT - mirror backup, no encryption, source is Win8, destination is WinXP
