System is Win8.1 backing up to a local NAS (Network Attached Storage). I can copy to/from the NAS with no problems. The NAS name is, appropriately, 'backup'.

Hi,

Is the job imported from version 4?
Do you have this problem every time?
Is the job executed manually? or scheduled

Please send us the complete backup log to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

I don't have the log file anymore, I deleted it. It's not an imported job. I installed FBackup last week and tried to run it, got the error.

I also mapped my NAS to a network drive (z:) and tried another backup. Same error.

What worked was doing the backup to the local drive (c:), then copying the backup directory to the NAS.

Can you use the UNC path with IP? \\192.168.1.100\foldername

That sorta worked, got 2 warning at the end. The destination disk (z:, or 192.168.1.65) has lots of space on it:

Your backup is not successful.
How many files you have in backup?

According to the log there are 1,168 files in the backup.

I have only the 1 backup file, when the backup fails I delete that backup's data.

Hi,

Please change the backup type to Mirror (from Backup Properties->Types)
Run again the backup.
Do you have the same problem?
