I am trying to install FBackup 5.4.813 on a WIN 7 machine. I download the software and click on install. It starts installing and reaches 91% installed and hangs there. I started installing one night and let it run until the next afternoon around 1 PM CST. It still had not finished. Does anybody have any idea what can cause this? I really like this product. I have tried installing it numerous time and get the same results.

Hi,

Please uninstall FBackup from Control Panel and then try to install it using the .msi setup:
http://download.fbackup.com/download/setup/fbsetup.msi

Let us know if you still have the problem.

When I try to install using fbsetup.msi, I get the following:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is not available. Click OK to try again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'FBsetup.msi'. I click on browse and click on the download folder where fbsetup.msi was downloaded. I click on that. It now says the file C:\users\jat0629\downloads\fbsetup.msi' is not a valid installation package for the product FBACKUP5. Try to find the installation package fbsetup.msi in a folder from which you can install FBackup5. When I cancel out of it, it says the older version of FBackup5 cannot be removed. Contact your Technical Support group. I have looked in Control Panel and there is nothing there for FBackup5.
