For the past two weeks or so, backup has either failed altogether or been successful but in either case a parameter error message appears that suggests that the software is looking for a backup job that it cannot find. Backup is scheduled for 03.00 daily.
We have consulted with GeekSquad on this on several occasions and their work on it has included uninstallation / reinstallation but this has not resolved the issue and they are now able to take matters further.
