FBackup 9.9 build 959 installation hangs at 70%

Operating system is Windows 11 Pro.

I'm running the install with administrator privileges. When the installation reaches 70% (Removing applications), the install hangs (screenshot attached). When I click "Cancel" and confirm, nothing happens. The installation menu remains.

I tried uninstalling, stopping all FBackup processes in Task Manager, deleting all Softland folders and deleting all Softland entries in the registry before trying the installation again.

I'm not sure what to try next.

Hi,

Please go to "C:\Users\<user name>\AppData\Local\Temp\"
Look for a file named with "FBackup", that is the installation log.
Send us that file to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Usually, when such a situation appears, you need to open Regedit.exe.
Then search and delete all entries with "FBackup".
Then try again to install FBackup.
