Hey,
I'm using this software on a server running 2008 MS Server. The scheduler won't run when the admin is logged off. On task schedular I tried checking "Run whether user is logged on or not. Did not work. I tried creating the schedule with the task scheduler instead of fbackup's scheduler with the help of tutorial, did not work either. Any solution advises?
Thanks
Alex

Hi,
You cannot create scheduled backups to run when no user is logged on, using the FBackup scheduler.
You should be able to configure a scheduled task using the Windows Scheduler.
Can you schedule another application to run using Windows Scheduler when no user is logged on?

On task scheduler in windows server 2008, there are two options. On "general" tab I see "run only when user is logged on" and "run whether user is logged on or not" options. Fbackup schedule feature creates a task named "FBackup Scheduler_Administrator". The default option marked is ""run only when user is logged on". I changed this option to "run whether user is logged on or not" but then the scheduler did not work. It works if the admin account is "locked", but does not work when "logged off".

Please try to schedule another application to run using Windows Scheduler when no user is logged on. Do you have the same problem?

Hi,
We do not have such problems here. FBackup is working just find when no user is logged on. Do you use a Windows login password?

Hi,
@bwls: Can you create a scheduler from Windows to start another application?
What about starting FBackup?
