Hello, thanks for a help in advance.
I have one PATA hard disk (system - Windows 2000, software) and one SATA hard disk (data). FBackup accepts the SATA disk as the destination, but not as the source - it is not offered in the browse dialog box when choosing sources.
I saw this bug in older software bundles (e.g. Iomega QuickSync), but it is a great obstacle for FBackup.
Maybe it is resolvable by SUBST command, but isn't there a more elegant way?
Thanks, Jan Kalivoda

Hi,
Is the SATA hard disk a local drive?

I identified this bug (my SATA-disk not identified) in several programs, today in the DiskImage, too. I suppose that it is the bug of my mainboard, as it is rather old and its SATA connection seems a bit rude. My system has not this problem, so I use the command SUBST for attributing other drive letters to the partitions on my SATA-disk. It works for FBackup, too.
My first full backup runs in FBackup for several hours, I hope for the best...
Thank you for your care.
