Is there a way for FBackup to do a backup without copying everything? For example, I do a full backup of my drive D on an external HDD. Then I add 2 files and modify 1 file in drive D. The next time I do a backup, can FBackup just copy the new and modified files instead of copying everything again?

Hi,
That is possible in FBackup only if you use the Mirror backup type.

If you want to zip the files, that is not possible in FBackup. That feature (the Incremental backup type) is available only in Backup4all, our commercial product.

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Thanks. Any disadvantage in using the mirror backup vs. zip backup?

Hi,
Mirror backup does not compress the files into a zip archive and the destination space used is larger than the space used by a zip backup.
