hi I'd just like to know whether the mirror backup function is a 2-way or 1-way mirror? Personally I'm looking for a backup function that copies files from source to destination in that direction only and only overwrites older files, leaving redundant files alone. For example a current working folder with current files backing up to an archive with older versions and deleted - but not the reverse (I don't want the deleted versions to pop up back in the current working folder). So, not really a mirror in the real world sense.

Hi,
FBackup is exactly what you need.

FBackup is a onw way backup solution.

Use the Mirror backup type to copy only new and modified files to destination and also remove excluded or deleted files from destination.

Hello-
I want to use Mirror back, but after the initial back up I want to delete certain files from the source. I'm wondering if I do this will FBackup delete the files from the destination that I deleted from the source? I don't want this to happen.
Thanks for the help!

Hi,
Please open Backup Properties (Ctrl+P)->Mirror page.

Make sure the "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" option is not checked.
