Destination Drive Replacement Question

My Destination Drive died abruptly, so I couldn't transfer or clone the files from it to the new replacement Backup Drive.
I know how to copy the catalog files from the C drive to the destination drive, and did so. But when I ran the backup jobs, FBackup said it was successful, but no data folders (mirror) were created on the Destination Drive.
I also tried deleting the backup jobs, and double clicking on the catalog files to recreate them, but it still would not backup the data files and folders to the Destination Drive.
SOLUTION: I finally had to delete all 5 of my backup jobs, and recreate them manually to get everything working normally on the Destination drive. This took some time.
QUESTION: Is there an easier way to replace a dead Destination Drive without manually recreating each backup job? (In case my Destination Drive should die again in the future)
Thank you.
