Mirror Backup

Hi,
I have a question using the mirror backup.
From what I understand, a mirror backup is an identical backup of the source (admittedly, I do not understand the difference between this and the second backup option - "full" backup - can someone please explain this?).
Anyway, I successfully made a backup in the past.
2 days ago, I ran the mirror backup. I expected only the new files since the last backup to be added and deleted files since the last backup to be deleted. Rather than doing this, it seems like it's doing a "find and replace" - it is copying over all the files in the source and overwriting the existing files in the destination. It took about 2 days to do a simple backup and test.
Can someone please help me understand the issue and resolve it?
I would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

Hi,

The Full backup type will back up all files every time, in a zip archive format.

The Mirror backup type will copy files in the original format, without compressing them.
The first back up will include all files and after that only new and modified files will be backed up.

For the problem you described, please send us the last backup log and the .fkc catalog to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Thank you for contacting me.

The same problem occurs with backups to 2 separate external hard drives.

I'd like to send you the .fkc files but they are too large to email: 1 is 96MB and the other is 36MB.

Where can I locate the log?

Please let me know.

Thanks
