Network backup zip with password doesn't zip

Post by EarthSpirit »

Fbackup backs up all files and folders as it is not as a zip as i chose in the settings.
I deleted the job and recreated it but got the same problem.

Hi,

Please use the Full backup type in Backup Properties->Types page.

Hi,
I use the option Full Backup, not mirror.

Hi,

Are you saying that the Full backup type did not create zip files in destination, but the files are copied in the original format?
Please send us the .fkc catalog file from destination and also a screenshot with the destination files.
Send them to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Hi,

Please make sure you have full permissions on the destination shared drive.

Hi,
I do. I shared with the homegroup Read and write. I can move files on the network destination folder with the explorer windows. Fbackup network test is positive.

After tackling the credential problem, i want to come back to this.

I use Encryption with password but get the content of my folder non zipped, non encrypted.

Also the back up folder i designated contains not only the files backed up but the folders of the path of the source files:
Back up Document contains
Users
folder1
folder2
and then the content.

Help?
Thank you
