Let's hope it is fixed soon. As it very broken right now. Would be nice if we could get that confirmation.

When this happens to you guys does the program FREEZE and you have to CTRL ALT DELETE to close the program, or does it just get to a particular file and then just do nothing. As if its trying for hours to back up one particular file? With the elapsed and estimated time frozen to where it was when it got to the file? Just not progressing.

At least for me it's getting stuck on a particular file and won't continue. The program is not frozen. The job can be canceled and the program is still "functional".

Hi,

A workaround is to restart the Volume Shadow Copy service from Windows.
A new build with the fix will be released these days.

We fixed the problem in version 9.
Please download and install the new build 9.1.357.

Version 9.3 build 428 froze on my backup job today, similarly to my previous freezes. Was able to cancel the backup. Had not seen the previously posted workaround so I did not try it. Since I was pressed for time, I used version 7 to back up my data instead.

After returning from my trip, I tried my backup job again on FBackup 9.4 build 448, and it completed without any errors. :D
