Re: Could not start Test for job...
Hi,
I just checked and the correct download link appears for FBackup on our website.
Did you used another way to download the setup file?
Please see if you can reproduce the problem.

Re: "Access denied" errors after upgrade from v8.9 to 9.0
Hi,
Please make sure that FBackup is not blocked by the antivirus/firewall. Put the entire installation folder in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall.
Then restart FBackup and try again to run the backup.
Do you still have the problem?

Re: random files not getting backed up
Hi, It is unclear for me how those files are missing from destination as long as they exists in sources. In order to make sure other files are not missing, you can copy-paste the source files to the corresponding destination folder. When Windows will ask if you want to overwrite the files, press Ski...

@Ryan Gray
That tool will rename the paths if you extract the zip file with it.
Similar results can be accomplished if user manually extracts the files in the root of the drive, having a short path.

Hi,
To ignore those files, please open Backup Properties->Sources.
Uncheck this folder "D:\$RECYCLE.BIN\"
Then press Save and run again the backup.

Re: random files not getting backed up
Hi, FBackup uses the backup catalog to determine which files were backed up. If you perform a restore, that is made file by file, respecting the folder structure. With other words, if FBackup did not backed up a file, it will not restore it as that file does not appear in the backup catalog. You sai...

Re: random files not getting backed up
Hi, You need to use FBackup, not to manually copy/edit/delete files in destination. The backup destination is supposed to be a safe copy of the source files. If you manually change them, when FBackup will try to restore them, it will look for missing files in destination. The new files manually copi...
