Thank you. Do you know what changed that it doesn't see the drives in the correct format any more? I am still using the same setup as I've had for years.
Thank you. I'm just trying to understand.

Re: destination drive not showing as external
I don't know how to tell if Windows is recognizing it as a local or external drive. I do know that when I select "local" from the destination and scroll to Drive M the backup does seem to be working. At least it hasn't given me any error messages yet. Is this okay to run as local? It is sh...

destination drive not showing as external
I'm not sure what has changed. I have three external drives (1-1 TB, 1-2TB and 1-3TB) that I back up to. I realized one drive had quit working on me last week when I was looking for something. So, I figured I'd better do an update of my backups as I hadn't done one in a while (Nov 2016). Each drive ...

Re: Warning Skipping File - Destination Error 108329208
I haven't attempted with another drive to backup to. But, will try tomorrow if I have time. I do two backups of my system. One of my documents (excluding the photos folder) and one of my photos only. Both are from the same drive on my laptop and going to the same Western Digital My Passport external...

Re: Warning Skipping File - Destination Error 108329208
Any answer for this question? I have a similar error message, but the code is "code 128710972".
I don't get this message when I backup my photos, only my other items.
Thanks.

<t>I'm not sure if this is working okay or not. I keep trying to backup from Patty'sDocuments and Patty'sPhotos (not under Patty'sDocuments) from an internal hard drive to my portable external one. But, each time I try it, it takes hours (started at 6:30 this morning and finished at 11:30 tonight) a...

<r>Thank you. You say it needs to be a local drive. How about if I'm backing up files from an external drive that is connected to a wireless USB hub and adapter like this one at <URL url="http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-14255">http://www.mcmelectronics.com/product/58-14255</URL> I haven't g...

<t>I've been using FBackup for about a year now and love it. I've just installed it on my major computer now and am setting up things to be a little more automated. At least I hope I can.<br/> If I set up the scheduler to run at a specific time and someone (my husband) is on the computer at the time...
