Destination error (code 82) on memory stick only

Post by fitness88 »

FBackup 9.0.271
Windows 10

When doing a mirror backup onto a memory stick there is 1 cache folder's contents that I can't back up. I receive over 6000 Destination error (code 82) all from this 1 cache folder.
When doing an exact same mirror backup onto an external hard-drive the same cache folder's contents all get backed up.
Why would this happen with the memory stick [only 1/2 used]?

Thank you.

I see the description of the latest update:
Changes in FBackup 9.0.287 (21-May-2021)

Fixed: Importing jobs with unavailable plugins failed in certain situations
Fixed: Could not apply catalog patch error on backup jobs for some Firefox versions
The cache I am referring to in my OP is from Firefox...could this fix be related to my issue?

Unfortunately this didn't fix the issue...had over 2000 warnings in the same cache folder as before.

Hi,

Do you still have the problem with build 9.0.307?

I've un-checked the folder in question for back-up because I don't really need it any more. I'll post back the results should I decide to back it up again.
Thank you for the response.

Hi,

The problem should be fixed already.
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
