I think I understand what's going on. The "Update catalog" operation takes a very long time, if there are a lot of files, then several hours. If the computer is turned off during the backup, this operation will fail. And the next time you run the backup, the files will be uploaded again.
Maybe there is an opportunity to somehow optimize the execution of this operation so that it does not take hours?
