One Way / Two Way Sync - Google Drive Backup ?

Post by warp »

Hi,

I have a daily full backup scheduled. So when backup zip file is uploaded to google drive with fbackup v9.4 it deletes file that was uploaded the earlier day. This is typically a Two-Way sync scenario, as when local backup file is overwritten or deleted by new zip backup file, the same change is sync'd in Google Drive.

Google drive backup & sync had both options since years i.e. one-way sync and two-way sync and now the new Google drive software for desktop has removed One-way sync option.

Still, the purpose of keeping backup to cloud should mostly be One-Way sync in most cases.

Is this possible via Fbackup ?

Hi,

I am not sure I correctly understand your request.
FBackup is a one-way backup solution.
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
