Hi
I just made a backup of 14.70go files from my hard drive D to my Hard drive E and it took 15minutes then the soft made a checking 5minutes. Is the back up speed normal or it should be faster. Then how to make it faster. This is the same with antivirus enabled and disabled.Vista Ultimate 32bits, Intel core2duo 6320.
How Can I perform Fast Backup

Hi,
The backup speed depends on multiple factors:
1. What hard drive is E drive?
2. What are the read/write speed values of D and E drives?
3. What backup type do you use?
4. What compression do you use?
5. Do you use encryption?
6. What are the file types you backup?

Hi,
How much does it take to manually copy those files to backup destination drive?

Hi,
There is a CRC testing for each file after it is copied in destination.
After the backup ended, the entire backup is tested.
You should compare with the Windows Explorer copy speed.
