Using FBackup 7. After several hours backing up I now find that the Testing process is taking hours as well. A search of this forum suggests that it tests every single file backed up!
This is a nonsense! I was taught that good network management policy on backing up is select a random few files to test restore after backup - not all of them! (Not sure if FBackup Testing phase is actually testing restoring the files though) - what is it doing?).
Is there a setting to limit the amount tested to a % of files? If not can I forward this as an improvement suggestion?

Re: Limit Testing phase?
Hi,
This is how FBackup works at the test phase. The entire backup is tested, to ensure the backup is fine.
If you want to disable the test after backup, please open Backup Properties->Advanced page and uncheck the "Test after backup" option.
