I was disappointed to find that FBackup will not backup files from a network-based source, which very much limits its usefulness for me. This can't be a security issue since there is nothing to stop you copying from a network source, which is how I have to back them up at present. It would be really helpful if someone could explain the logic of this. Also, can anyone suggest a way around this problem? It is not practical to put FBackup on the server.
Many thanks!
Why are network backups not allowed?

Hi,
We added your request on our wishlist.
If you want to back up files from a network source, we suggest you to use Backup4all, a commercial backup application.
