Hmm. Build 300 seems to be acting normally now. I guess the first time it runs it needs to run the entire backup.

It is also running the after backup action now.

select the clear backup option and then take another backup. Just don't forget to uncheck it before the next backup or it will clear each time.

I think you can only save files to a network drive. Not copy files from a network drive.
