FB9, Fast mirror

Fast mirror doesn't seem to work properly after update to FBackup ver. 9. I've tried with and without 'Smart file scanning' but it does the full copy every time. I created a new test backup in FB9 with 2 files and the log shows both files are added every time, even when I run it again right after it's done. It's supposed to only add new files.

Same here. Very, very frustrating.
I have thousands of files going to a local synched cloud directory and do not want to upload them all over again.
Even with a fast NAS box it is a real pain.

Please send us the .fkc catalog file and the last backup log for that job, to info[at]fbackup[dot]com

Exactly the same problem - I now have multiple copies of the same files because all the files are backed up even when they already exist- why issue an upgrade which causes these issues -version 8.9 worked fine. so frustrating and I will have to disable the programe or will run out of back up space with all these duplicates

I will email a log and FKC file.
I have tried with a new job created and that seemed to work - it is imported jobs which fail.

I have the same problem.
I tried both importing the back-up job from FB8 and creating new. In both cases every time all files are being copied instead of only the newly added once...

I emailed my Fkc and log files and the problem has now been recreated.
Hopefully an update is imminent.
I see that the shadow copy for open files also is not available?

Glad to know I'm not the only one. This is a nightmare, because a fresh backup and test of all my data takes about 24 hours. Hope this is fixed soon.

Same with me, the mirror backs up in full everytime
