Hey guys,
I just came across some older forum posts regarding some problems with mirror backup type, and I would like to know if these issues persist or have been fixed.
I read that mirror backup won't always detect new files/changes to send to the backup. Here is a link to that forum post: http://www.fbackup.com/forum/topic/mirr ... -new-files
Is this still an issue? If I add files to some source folder, could FBackup miss them, or has this issue been fixed? If not, how can I protect against this, other than switching to a different backup solution?

Hi,
That has never been a problem. FBackup works fine detecting new files to be backed up.
For some users, the confusion is when they pick the source folders, they expect files from other folders (not selected) to be backed up.
For example, lets say you have on D: drive folder A and Folder B
- If you pick D: drive as backup source, both folders A and B will be backed up.
- If you just pick folder A as backup source, new files and folders under folder A will be backed up, but folder B won't be backed up nor the files and folders under it, as folder B was not selected as backup source.
