Missing Backup Log File

Greetings...

I've been using FBackup 4.x for years, and yesterday, I downloaded and installed FBackup 5.0. Afterwards, I performed a customary mirror backup w/test. After the entire backup process concluded, I opened the backup log file to check for warnings, errors, etc. as I customarily do after each backup.

Today, when I attempted to view the backup log file again, it wasn't to be found!

What happened to the backup log file? I didn't delete the text file after I had viewed it yesterday, just closed it.

I have exactely the same problem as TRBenjeski

After the entire backup processes concluded, I opened yesterday evening the backup log files to check them
Today when I attempted to view the backup log files again, they wasn't to be found!
I don´t delete the logfiles.

all namend backup jobs for example: Websites monthly_20130828201803.backup.log
wasn´t found in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 5\Logs the named backup jobs

Then i start an new back up and looking in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 5\Logs the named backup job was still inside.

After reboot the system log files missing again.

FBackup 5.0/ Win 7 Prof. /64 Bit

How large are all the log files in the FBackup's log folder?

in Backup directory 11 backup jobs with a total of 18 GB

Hi,

The limit for the log folder is not set to 20 MB. When exceeding the limit, logs are deleted. We will increase the limit in the next release.

Sorry if I made a misunderstanding
The complete log folder in <C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Softland\FBackup 5\Logs> has 18395 KB

The Backup folder on my ssd disk has 18 GB

on how much MB log file is currently limited

I understand you correctly. The entire log folder is now limited at 20 MB. The limit will be increased in the next release.
