Hi folks,
Bit the bullet and installed win10 earlier this year. Happy with that decision, but glad I waited a while before so doing.
Now I get win10 notifications that "my backup" hasn't been run... when I am only using FBackup to do so. And I had run backup only a day ago...
Tried wading through win10 settings to see if there was a way win10 would recognize I am using 3rd party ... nada. win10 wants to run it's own backup.
My long-winded intro is for this question:
How do I get win10 to recognize that I am in fact doing backups?
Is there a setting in FB that will tell win10 the job is, in fact, being done?
Hope that makes sense

How do I stop win10 asking me to Backup when using FBackup?

Hi,
The Windows backup notifications are about the Windows backup tool. You cannot configure it to consider another application for backups. You should disable the Windows backup notifications.
